Material & Design
The guts of this thing matter. That’s why the lamp body is made from high-purity quartz, not standard glass. Quartz handles the thermal shock of being switched on and off over and over again. It also lets that critical 254nm UV-C wavelength pass right through with almost no loss. Inside, a precisely applied coating keeps mercury migration in check and stabilizes the arc. The result? A longer service life. And for the connection, we use an R7s bi-pin interface. It’s a proven industrial standard for a reason.
